4 October - Midlands Vehicle Preservation Society Club Night at Coventry Aero Club,
Baginton, Coventry. Steve Bagley of Coventry Transport Museum, will be giving a

10 October 2010 - Amberley Autumn Vintage Vehicle Show. Space is limited, so if
you wish to attend, contact the Museum on 01798 831370 before 26th September for
an Entry Form. (Or you can e-mail: office@amberleymuseum.co.uk. ) This is a very
interesting day out for all the family, with many working exhibits in the museum.
Entry for car & driver is free - adult passengers pay £5 per person (in advance,
with entry form.

17 October - BEN to Benz Vintage and Classic Vehicle Rally. A fund-raising event
for BEN - Entry fee £35 for driver +£17 per passenger - Includes snack breakfast
at BEN (Arrive 9.00 - 9.15am) and buffet lunch in Maybach Suite at Mercedes-Benz
World, Brooklands, following approx 60 mile drive through picturesque countryside.

6-7 November - 10th Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show at the Bath &
West Show Ground, Shepton Mallet. Come along and visit the Singer Stand A72 in
the Main Hall (Showering Pavilion), where Robert Lovegrove will again be demonstrating
some of the skills employed during the restoration of his superb Le Mans. Some of
the top restorers in the West have also already booked their stands, and 100 autojumble

The Rootes Archive Centre is moving to new premises in the Cherwell Business Village
on the northern edge of Banbury.
The Open Day planned for 4th July will now be the Opening of the new Centre.
This is also the 5th Anniversary of the Rootes Archive Centre Trust.
Other Open Days will be on 10th October and 12th December. (Xmas Fayre).
