Richard Brown’s part-restored 1931 Junior made a great focal point and attracted a lot of attention on the South-West Singer Group’s stand at the 9th FJ Restoration Show. On the Saturday, Ken Arthur, of K&A Developments in Upton Scudamore, gave demonstrations of putting the wire in a beaded edge, and on the Sunday, Robert Lovegrove, who had organised the stand, demonstrated cutting and swaging louvres by hand, using his home-produced tooling, and was presented with a Silver Tray award for the‘Stand with the Best Demonstration’.
