This super post card of an SM 1500 being loaded onto a Silver City Bristol 170 at Le Tourquet Airport, was sold on E-Bay recently for £21.10p. In the background is a Trans-Channel Airways De-Haviland Rapide. The card had been posted in France, but no date is given. Judging by the amount of luggage on the roof-rack, it looks as though the car’s occupants have been on a long continental holiday.
